Bipartisan Letter From 180 Representatives to House and Senate Leadership Urging Rejection of the Burris Amendment

On July 14, 2010 Reps. W. Todd Akin (R-MO) and Gene Taylor (D-MS), along with 178 Representatives, sent a bipartisan letter to the leaders of the House and Senate, urging them “To reject any language in the DOD Authorization bill for FY 11 (or subsequent years) which would weaken or undermine current [abortion] policy.”
